SUMPP - Service universitaire de médecine de prévention des personnels (University Service of Preventive Medicine for Personnel)

The service of preventive medicine for staff is open to all AMU staff (permanent and non-permanent) and its role is to prevent any deterioration in the health of staff members as a result of their work. Preventive doctors intervene along two lines:

- action in the workplace (study of work stations and working conditions, proposal of preventive measures, participation in the health, safety and working conditions committee (CHSCT) and various working groups),SUMPP - Action in the Workplace

- medical surveillance of staff members, with the possibility of proposing post adjustments justified by the state of health.

Medical check-ups are every five years, biennially or annually (depending on certain risks). Apart from these periodic visits, any staff member may request a meeting with his or her preventive doctor. SUMPP - Medical check-ups

The occupational health team also includes an occupational psychologist who contributes to the evaluation and prevention of psycho-social risks. She receives in complete confidentiality the personnel who wish to benefit from a listening or accompaniment within the framework of their professional situation. SUMPP - Occupational psychologist

Preventive doctors and occupational psychologists participate in the Socio-Professional Monitoring Unit (CVSP) and in the Mechanism to combat harassment and sexist, sexual and homophobic violence.

The SUMPP welcomes you by appointment on 3 sites: St Charles, St Jérôme and Aix-en-Provence/Montperrin.

• The SUMPP administrative centre is located on the St. Charles site at the following mailing address: Aix-Marseille University - box 40 - 3 place Victor Hugo, CS 80249, 13331 Marseille Cedex 03. The secretariat (tel. 04 13 55 25 00) is open from Monday to Friday from 8 am to 12.15 pm and from 1.15 pm to 4.30 pm. The SUMPP St Charles welcomes the agents of the campus Marseille centre / Luminy / Pharo / Santé (Timone).

• The secretariat of the St Jérôme site (tel. 04 13 94 51 95) is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8am to 12.15pm and from 1.15pm to 4.30pm, closed on Wednesdays. The SUMPP receives the agents of the campus Etoile and Arbois. In case of emergency outside the opening periods or in the absence of the secretary, contact the secretariat of the St Charles site.

• The secretariat of the Aix-en-Provence - CUBE site (tel. 04 13 94 22 57) is open Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00 to 12:30 and 13:15 to 16:00. The SUMPP receives agents from Aix-en-Provence and remote sites: Gap, Digne, Arles, Avignon, Salon and Aubagne. In case of emergency outside the opening periods or in the absence of the secretary, contact the secretariat of the St Charles site.

University Hospital staff can be received at the Timone Hospital or the Conception Hospital.
