The Ocean Sciences Institute launches each year various calls for funding to achieve its research excellence and ocean literacy objectives.
The institute funds PhDs, Post-docs, Master mobility bursaries, summer schools and a range of other actions.

Call for summer schools & field trip funding 2021 |

Phase 1 proposals must be submitted by January 31, 2022, by filling out the template in Appendix 1 of the PAA and emailing it to Kalliopi Pediaditi

A review by the OCEAN Summer School working group will take place and feedback will be provided by February 14, 2022
-
The proposal must be signed by the component director, who will agree to take responsibility for administrative operations (such as issuing short course certificates, processing overtime for faculty, etc.)
-
Final Phase 2 proposals must be submitted by February 18, 2022 incorporating the recommendations of the working group
-
The OCEAN Education committee will select the summer school project(s) to be funded and a response will be provided by March 1, 2022
