What is a university exchange?

An exchange is part of an inter-university exchange program that offers you the opportunity to pursue your studies at a foreign partner university for a semester or an academic year. What are the academic advantages?

1. This exchange is recognized and taken into account in passing exams and obtaining the degree prepared within AMU thanks to the transfer of ECTS credits obtained.
2. You remain enrolled at Aix-Marseille Université, which means you are exempt from the host university's tu ition fees, while benefiting from an enriching experience abroad!

Please note that all exchanges outside the European Economic Area must be submitted to Aix-Marseille Université's Defense Security Officer for final approval. In view of the specific security risks in Ukraine, mobility to neighboring countries (Hungary, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovakia) will also be subject to FSD approval, in order to analyze the risks according to the distance between the mobility location and the Ukrainian border.
