AMU's Schools of Research

The aim of the "Schools of Research" action under the Programme d'Investissements d'Avenir (PIA 3- wave 1) is to strengthen the impact and international attractiveness of a university site's research and training in one or several scientific fields. The aim is to finance the internationally recognized Graduate School model, which brings together master's and doctoral programs as well as one or more high-level research laboratories and research organizations.

Aix-Marseille University is the winner of two EURs in 2017, AMSE and nEURo*AMU, for a duration of 10 years. They are respectively endowed with 16.6M€ and 10 M€ co-financed by the Programme d'Investissements d'Avenir
and the A*Midex foundation.
