The Continuing Education Service of Aix-Marseille University offers training to prepare for the A and B category administrative competitions, which allows access to the State and local civil service competitions.

In the name of the principle of equality, the administrative competitions are accessible to all, whether employees or job seekers, regardless of their school or university studies. This training opens up the variety of jobs offered by the Administration. Thus, each year, trainees attempt and pass the competitive examinations for the prefecture, school and university education, cultural services, sustainable development, police, customs, tax services, social services, etc. Thus, the field of action of the Civil Service is wide, which makes it possible to satisfy the ambitions of each and every one.

This training includes 400 hours spread over 8 half-days per week from October to June. The courses take place at the Faculté Saint-Charles in Marseille.

CAUTION:

1. Content of the course

  • Theoretical modules: administrative law, constitutional law, general culture, major contemporary issues in relation to current events in France and Europe, European law, local authority law, political economy
  • Technical modules: preparation for oral examinations. Written methodology: summary note, administrative note, essay, QRC, QCM

The teaching team has a double ambition, to progressively raise the level of each student to meet the requirements of the French administration. It relies on individualized support in order to help each candidate reach his or her objective of sustainable professional integration.

The teaching team is made up of lawyers, political scientists, economics graduates, members of the competitive examination jury and professionals from the public sector. All the lecturers are experts in administrative competitions.

4. Pre-registration procedure

The pre-registration is done after a pedagogical interview with one of the managers. To obtain an appointment, you can contact us at the address indicated in "Contacts for interviews". During this interview you will have to provide us with the documents indicated below. If you wish, you can download the pre-registration file, otherwise it will be given to you at the interview.

The interviews take place at the St Charles Faculty in Marseille.
