The Institutes of the Aix-Marseille site
These institutesbring together all or part of the activities of different research units around an interdisciplinary theme or with the vocation to develop interdisciplinary collaborations at the interfaces. In particular, they are intended to establish a strong link between training and research in order to train new generations of scientists who are open to interdisciplinary approaches.
IMéRA
Foundation of the University of Aix-Marseille, theIMéRA is an Institute of Advanced Studies. It welcomes researchers and artists in residence to develop research at the interfaces and contribute to the emergence and development of world-class interdisciplinary research approaches. IMéRA positions itself as the Mediterranean exploratory centre for interdisciplinarity.
