Training in differentiated pedagogy methodology in in-service training

This activity aims to implement, within the framework of in-service teacher training, training in differentiated pedagogy methodology, for example the "response to intervention" - RAI. The RAI model focuses on early identification of students at risk or with behavioural difficulties based on all available data, and tailored interventions for those with special needs. This approach is based on national assessments (in CP, CE1, 6e and 2nde) to propose training modules likely to improve results, in this case the performance of the pupils with the most difficulties in their learning of basic knowledge. It makes it possible to objectify the actions taken and to assess their impact. The experimentation of the methodology of differentiated teaching is based on :

  • Continuous training modules, designed and elaborated in interaction between pedagogical teams, research teams and trainers at the level of each academic network, which constitute a specific response to the situation as it may result from the interaction. The objectivation of the situation through national evaluations makes it possible to position each module in the strategy of the teaching team and, more globally, in that of the academic network.
  • The generalization of the methodology of differentiated pedagogy will be accompanied by the implementation of an evaluation device to appreciate the impact on the performance of the pupils by following their results in the national evaluations.

The Research and Field referents intervene in the strategies of reception of establishments-trainers and in the elaboration of training modules, in particular those concerning the training in a methodology of differentiated pedagogy.
