The government announced in November 2018 the introduction of differentiated tuition fees for foreign students (outside the European Union). Since then, the Board of Directors of Aix-Marseille University has approved a partial exemption from these fees, which has made possible to reduce the amount of registration fees for non-EU students to the same level as that paid by French or European students.
The Board's position remains unchanged for the academic year 2021-2022.
Message to non-EU students
On January 19th 2021, the Board of Administration of Aix-Marseille University approved that all non-EU students will not be subject to differentiated tuition fees for the academic year 2021/2022.
This exemption will allow non-EU students to pay the same fees as French or EU students.
No specific action is expected from students as the exemption will automatically be applied.
