"RIS4CIVIS" wins the H2020 "SWAFS" call for projects
Aix-Marseille Université has won 2 million euros for the CIVIS alliance as part of the H2020 "SWAFS" call for projects, attributed to the structuring of joint research with its "RIS4CIVIS" project.
The "RIS4CIVIS" project aims to strengthen the research dimension of the European CIVIS University. With a duration of 3 years and a budget of 2 million euros for the alliance, this project aims to structure a common Research & Innovation strategy for the CIVIS consortium by sharing infrastructures, good practices in terms of Human Resources, an Open Science vision and by reinforcing collaboration with companies and civil society.
Aix-Marseille University is coordinating the whole project and is leading the work on the axis for the development of a common agenda for research and innovation for CIVIS. The European university aims to strengthen the link between education and research by developing an institution capable of responding to the challenges of the future. The synergies between the activities of the "RIS4CIVIS" project and the initiatives already implemented in the Erasmus+ project will be very important (e.g. the role of the Hubs on societal issues).
