For 5 weeks, Here Comes Africa will bring the plural word and gesture that testify to the state of today's creation in Africa.
In this context, la Friche offers students a free guided tour of the exhibition "Stirring the pot" by the artist Emeka Ogboh; a visual, sensory, gustatory, musical and political proposition organized jointly with Fræme and Les grandes Tables - I.C.I.

Film screenings conceived with Shellac and the Cinémathèque de Tanger animate the Belle & Toile evenings.
La Friche also hosts Les Cuisines Africaines, with chefs from Africa and the Diaspora: they compose a global experience that combines culinary discoveries, chef demonstrations, debates, workshops and a big Market.
Afriques Fantastiques - Fantastic Africa completes this time of the HQ with a festive weekend from July 9th to 11th, built with artists active in the field of performance, who invest the spaces of the Friche inside and outside. 48 hours during which these artists make fictions collide, telling the story of Africa as a place of radical utopias and subversive questioning. |
