Aix morning stroll with Mozart on Saturday, June 5, in Aix-en-Provence

Two historical places in the city centre of Aix-en-Provence - the Hôtel Boyer de Fonscolombe and the Musée Granet - resounded to the sounds of Mozart. 18 students of the vocal ensemble of AMU: EVAMU offered to the inhabitants of Aix two musical moments full of poetry by interpreting "Mozart's nocturnes". More than 80 people were able to discover and appreciate the baptism on stage of EV'AMU created in 2019.

About the event

Aix-Marseille University and the Festival d'Aix have joined forces to create EV'AMU, a vocal ensemble open to AMU students and staff. Directed by Philippe Franceschi, this vocal ensemble offers students and staff who already have a musical and vocal practice to develop a good level of amateur practice.

By joining forces, AMU and the Festival d'Aix wish to ensure that EV'AMU's musical quality progresses over time and that its artistic ambitions are enhanced.
On June 26, EV'AMU will take part in "ACCENTS BALKANS", a production of the Festival d'Aix which navigates between tradition and creation around the music of the Balkans.
