The A*Midex Foundation is deepening its actions to attract high-level talent to the Aix-Marseille university site, targeting research engineers. A*Midex's Talent Management program thus includes a new component designed to attract rare and sought-after technical skills to the site.
The objective of this "Research Engineer component" of the Talent Management program is to promote the development of the technological platforms at the Aix-Marseille site and other shared research, innovation and research promotion tools. A call for expressions of interest is launched as from 3 September 2018 by the A*Midex Foundation. The scoping letter available below details the ambition and conditions of this call; the scoping document for the call outlines it.
Attention: only one file submitted per research structure (including research federations); in case of double request, the management of the structure is requested to proceed to arbitration.
Calendar of the call:
- September 3, 2018 : Launch of the call for expressions of interest.
- October 22, 2018 : Deadline for receipt of applications (see application template to be completed below). CVs are not requested at this stage; the search for candidates can be done later. It is a matter of establishing a strategic recruitment project.
- November - December 2018 : Pre-selection of 2 to 3 recruitment projects by the A*Midex Steering Committee. The opinion of the extended "Aix-Marseille Technology Platform" steering committee will be required for the files concerned (files concerning P.F.T.). The results of the pre-selection are now available (documents below).
- January 2019 to June 2019 : Search for candidates for the 2 to 3 pre-selected projects, auditions; and validation on a case-by-case basis by the A*Midex Steering Committee. 1 to 2 projects selected in fine. Last opportunity for project validation by the A*Midex Steering Committee: July 2019 meeting.
- From the validation of recruitment projects, and until 1 February 2020 at the latest: Start of contracts. After this date, recruitment can no longer take place and A*MIDEX assistance will be lost.
The schedule announced above takes precedence over the indicative schedule that was announced in the scoping letter.
