MASTER'S LEVEL INTERNSHIPS

As part of its support for the training-research link, the institute finances student stays in laboratories from the M1 level onwards, as well as incoming and outgoing mobility grants for candidates who have demonstrated particularly high academic performance.

The Institute offers, with the support of the research laboratories and disciplinary departments within its perimeter, Master 1 or Master 2 scholarships to very high level students. These scholarships depend on the context of each course.

  • Immersion" internships in the IRPHE, IUSTI, LMA and M2P2 laboratories for students enrolled in M1 courses (or 2nd year of school): the internships are planned for a minimum of 12 weeks and the proposed funding amounts to around €2,000 through the payment of gratuities paid for by the Institute.

  • For M2 (or 3rd year of school) internships: they are generally longer (4 to 6 months) and very often the researchers who propose an internship have already planned the financing. However, here again, the institute can provide financial assistance if necessary.
What are the selection criteria?

1. the very good level of the candidate as shown by his/her previous academic career
2. the motivation of the student and the adequacy of his/her profile with the requirements in research and innovation.

In addition to these offers, there are other opportunities supported by the Institute:

  • Incoming and outgoing mobility grants are available for IMI students as well as for students from our CIVIS partners but also from other international universities. An installation grant of 2000€ for very good students in M2 is also possible and open to outsiders as well as locals.

  • The work-study option within our university courses will be developed in the near future in order to offer professionalization contracts and apprenticeship contracts via the master's courses (starting in M2).

Given the current health situation (Covid-19), these actions remain uncertain for the moment.
