Fighting against inequalities between women and men requires rigorous and multidisciplinary scientific research, particularly in the emerging field of Gender Studies. Without it, it is impossible to grasp the many roots of these inequalities, nor to formulate concrete proposals to eradicate them. The Vice-Presidency for Gender Equality and the Fight against Discrimination supports AMU researchers working on these issues by supporting the creation and work of a multidisciplinary network of gender experts (GenderMed), by making visible the individuals and laboratories that carry out this research and by relaying their news on the AMU website and social networks.
Gender directory of Aix Marseille University: the GenderMed network
This directory, the result of the collaboration between the Vice Presidency for Gender Equality and Anti-Discrimination and the GenderMed network, lists AMU researchers specializing in Gender Studies, understood in the broadest sense, i.e., including work on women and men, femininity and masculinities, gender relations, forms of domination and gendered discrimination, sexuality, feminism, etc. It allows queries by disciplinary field, by field of study and by geographical area in order to facilitate your search.
