New "International Month": ode to diversity and intercultural exchanges

From October 5th to November 5th 2021
Hybrid events: online and on all Aix-Marseille Université campuses!

As the prospect of a post-pandemic world looms and borders reopen, Aix-Marseille Université is pursuing its internationalisation dynamic by renewing its "International Month".
Numerous initiatives and events will punctuate the month of October to think and live the international of tomorrow.

Designed to encourage the university community to take ownership of the challenges and benefits of international openness, these next few weeks will offer several highlights to all the university's publics (students, teacher-researchers and staff).

Between student parties, conferences, workshops and virtual cafés, participants will be able to enjoy convivial moments of exchange (in foreign languages!), reflect on the challenges of a global education or lay the first stones of an international project.

On the programme:

  • October 5, 2021 Festiv'AMU, the Student Festival offered in the Aix concert hall "6mic": welcoming ceremony for international students in the presence of President Eric Berton, Vice President for International Relations Giovanna Chimini and Campus France for an exceptional raffle; followed by a series of unforgettable oncerts!

  • The Language Café: a weekly exchange between local and international students, in the language of their choice - every Tuesday from October 5 to November 5

  • Erasmus Days - from 14 to 16 October: conferences to discover the fundamentals of mobility and workshops to develop ideas for training projects; whether you are a student or a teacher-researcher with a project!

  • Dare to be mobile: a week to find out where and how to go on exchange during your studies - from 14 to 22 October

  • The U7+ Presidential Summit: two days and more than 100 representatives of international universities gathered in England to think about the strategies and role of universities in the future - October 25-26
