On the occasion of the international final of the prestigious MT180 competition (Ma Thèse en 180 secondes), Tom Mébarki, PhD student from Aix-Marseille University of Musicology will wear the tricolour colours.

After rigorous preparation with, in particular, the doctoral college of Aix-Marseille University and the scientific unit on confidence building and dramatization of the subject, Tom Mébarki passed all the key stages of the Ma Thèse competition in 180 seconds. He won the audience prize in the regional final, against 28 candidates and flew over the national final by winning both the 1st prize of the jury and the public prize. This 25-year-old opera singer from Aix-Marseille University will fly to Dakar to represent France in the international final.
