Aix-Marseille University and the Aix-Marseille-Provence Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industry bring economic and academic players closer together by signing a framework agreement

Eric Berton, President of Aix-Marseille University (AMU) and Jean-Luc Chauvin, President of the Aix-Marseille-Provence Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIAMP), have signed a 5-year framework agreement formalising their desire to bring together economic and academic players. The first application agreement to support students and trainees in continuing education for entrepreneurship was signed with Pepite Provence.

AMU and the CCIAMP are thus working to enhance the influence, attractiveness and economic and social development of the Aix-Marseille-Provence region: knowledge can be an economic asset; innovation and research contribute to the creation of values; skills and talents are essential drivers for the economy.

This framework agreement lays the collaborative basis for :

  • Student orientation, professional integration and entrepreneurship
  • Innovation and research
  • Training, continuing vocational training, work-linked training, etc.

The application agreement between the CCIAMP and Pepite Provence reflects the desire to coordinate their missions and skills in order to boost the ecosystem. It concerns all activities related to the dissemination of the entrepreneurial and innovation culture.

The signature was not made in person due to the current health situation.
