Follow-up of HCERES 2019 recommendations

Aix-Marseille University makes its recommendation following the request of HCERES as part of the follow-up to the recommendations made in the report of the committee of experts following the 2017 evaluation.

The construction of the 2018-2022 contract was an opportunity for Aix-Marseille Université to define its long-term strategy and roadmap. The 2012-2017 contract was largely devoted to the construction, structuring and affirmation of the merged university. In 2016, Aix-Marseille University obtained the perpetuation of its Idex.

With its solid foundations, it was able to define an ambitious long-term strategy as early as 2017, with the first step being 2018-2022, corresponding to the period of its next contract.

Within this framework, Aix-Marseille University has defined 4 major axes of development as the pillars of its long-term strategy to assert its role as a major world-class university. These axes correspond to the recommendations issued by the High Council for the Evaluation of Research and Higher Education (HCERES) at the end of the evaluation of the 2012-2017 contract.
