nuit chercheurs actu

The European Researchers' Night returns to Marseille on 27 September at the Dock des Suds. About a hundred researchers from all disciplines will meet the general public! Objective: share their research stories through stories, games, staging, riddles and anecdotes.

Date: Friday, September 27, 2019 from 6pm to midnight
Location: Dock des Suds, 12 rue Urbain, 13002 Marseille

Free and free admission

After three successive editions, each of which brought together more than 2000 people, this year's popularization of science focuses on the art of inquiry. Investigation, hypotheses and verification of facts, all methods common to scientific research and investigation.

Visitors will be invited to enjoy amazing experiences: refereeing a teddy bear game, meeting the werewolf's ancestors or diving on a planktonic safari. In the heart of the evening: the deserted room of a preteen in 2049. What happened in that room where time stopped? Between encounters and wanderings, the mystery may be clarified.

An original scenography has been designed to immerse the public in a world conducive to immersion and discovery. Since 2005, the European Commission has been supporting the European Researchers' Night and encouraging researchers' careers in Europe.
