The Faculty of Sports Sciences of Aix-Marseille University has thus created a new University Diploma (DU) entitled "Preparation for internal security competitions".
This diploma, which will open in May 2019, is intended for:
- students in initial training, holding a bachelor's degree and preferably a first-year level of higher education (validated or not)
- continuing education trainees under 35 years of age with a bachelor's degree or equivalent (e.g. BP JEPS).
The DU aims to train students interested in the gendarmerie's competitions and professions to the expected level of physical fitness, prepare them for physical tests and provide them with the general knowledge necessary for the eligibility and admission tests. The lessons will be given by teachers from the Faculty of Sports Sciences and executives of the National Gendarmerie.
