Scholarships for students from universities abroad:
These scholarships are for the Master of Physics with specialization in plasma and fusion and the Master IMM "Instrumentation, Measurement, Metrology" track Instrumentation and Measurement Science for major Nuclear research facilities (IMSci-Nu). They can be awarded on the basis of :
- the excellence of your academic results
- your cover letter
- letters of support from your teachers or supervisors
Duration and amount:
These scholarships are awarded for a period of 10 months per year. The amount of the scholarship depends on the entrance level in master’s degree.
- For a start in M1: It is 1000€/month in M1 and then 800€/month in M2
- For a start in M2: it is 1000€/month
To apply : please send your CV, transcripts, if possible details of the courses taken, your cover letter and letters of recommendation to the Institute. Applications are made between January and May. Responses are given as they are received from March onwards.
Do I have a chance of being selected for a scholarship?
For the Master of Physics:
If you have done a bachelor's degree with a major in physics, if you have had excellent results in mathematics, in physics during your bachelor's degree, if you like to talk, to discuss physics, if you are interested in plasmas, fusion, ITER, then you have a chance to be selected.
For the 1-year master’s track (IMSci-Nu) IMM Master's degree :
If you have done a master’s degree (M1, M2, MSc) or an Engineer degree in nuclear sciences, instrumentation, sensors, diagnostics, metrology, physics, engineering sciences, if you have had excellent results, if you are attracted by instrumentation, measurement, metrology for nuclear fields and you have a professional project in this field, then you have a chance to be selected.
Scholarships dedicated to enrolled students
- Scholarships for national or international mobility: once you are enrolled in one of our track, you can be awarded a mobility scholarship on the basis of your academic results for an internship outside Aix Marseille University.
- Internship scholarships for master 1 student: once you are enrolled in one of our track, you can be awarded a scholarship on the basis of your academic results for an internship at Aix Marseille University.
