Role and composition of the Institute Council

The institute is administered by an Institute Council whose responsibilities are as follows:

Role - missions

The role of the Institute Council is to administer the institute by managing its major orientations.

General missions :

  • to propose the appointment of a scientific and technical manager (RST) from among the teacher-researchers and researchers assigned to the units and components making up the institute (the RST is appointed by the President of the University after the advice of the Academic Council for a 5-year term, renewable once),
  • to approve the annual reports presented by the Scientific and Technical Officer,
  • approve the scientific evaluations of the Scientific and Training Advisory Board (STAB),
  • to adopt the budget on the proposal of the Scientific and Technical Officer and to monitor its implementation,
  • adopt the previous regulations and ensure their implementation,
  • to propose the educational and research programmes, within the framework of the Cancer & Immunology label, and to monitor their application,
  • to approve the inclusion of new academic and industrial partners in the Institute's projects,
  • to approve the list of students admitted to the Institute's programs,
  • approve the content and implementation of international programs.

The following also attend the Council meeting in an advisory capacity

The Council meets at least twice a year.
