The vice-department of research of the UFR ALLSH organizes a symposium entitled "Culture against war or Ukraine, the reality has dark flesh". What can a cultural institution such as a university do against war - in wartime or in opposition to war - if not organize a symposium on culture and war? This event hopes to elicit some answers.

On December 1, at 7:00 pm, the inaugural conference will welcome Kateryna Kalytko, a leading figure in contemporary Ukrainian poetry, essayist and translator.
On December 2, from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, four online round tables ("Should Pushkin be burned?", "The era of the camps", "Are fascism and genocide dirty words?", "War on war") will bring together 16 academics from Ukraine, Georgia, Italy and France, all of which will close with a conference by the essayist Camille de Toledo.
