Interdisciplinarity is one of its primary objectives. It is studied here on
two levels: between the disciplines of the humanities and social sciences, but also between and
between and with other sciences. Éric Berton, President of Aix-Marseille University
will introduce the first day.

These two days will be devoted to the development and support of multidisciplinary research by the MSHs.
multidisciplinary research (calls for projects, encouragement of collaborations between
between researchers from different disciplines on scientific themes, production of consortium
scientific themes, production of consortium involving technological platforms and their
their engineers ...) or what they could do, within the framework of broader reflections: on the current realities of interdisciplinarity(ies), on the power to define
interdisciplinarity(ies) from an epistemological point of view and in the face of "societal challenges", and also on the choices of devices likely to favor interdisciplinarity.

The aim is to deepen the place and the specific role of the national MSH system in the mobilization of interdisciplinary research required by the dynamics of knowledge and by the challenges facing our societies.
