Portuguese maritime expeditions were major events in the history of civilizations, for better or worse. This exhibition retraces the voyages of Portuguese navigators in South America, but also in Persia, Arabia, Africa, India, Japan. It also discusses the consequences they have had on cartography, shipbuilding, medicine, botany, literature...
