To study at university, you need to register.
Whether you are a future student (new baccalaureate holder, from another university, etc.) or already at AMU (re-registration).
Registration opens on June 29, 2023 at 9 a.m., and for new baccalaureate holders on July 6, 2023 at 2 p.m.
The end of registration is indicated by your faculty, school or institute.
Your registration consists of 2 successive and compulsory parts:
Administrative Registration (IA) to :
- obtain student status with your certificate of enrolment and your student card needed to take part in University activities
- access your Environnement Numérique de Travail (ENT) and over 30 related services (grades, timetable, exam calendar, online internship platform, online courses, etc.).
Inscription pédagogique (IP) for :
- formulate your pedagogical choices (TD groups, etc.)
- register for exams
Step-by-step registration
BEFORE YOU REGISTER, PLEASE READ THE STEPS BELOW
Step 1: Student Life and Campus Contribution (CVEC)
The CVEC is a compulsory tax of €100 (year 2023/2024) for all Higher Education students enrolled in Initial Training (not applicable to students in Continuing Training, on professionalization contracts or on supervised mobility in France).
Log on to here to create your account and pay your CVEC.
Download your certificate of payment (by payment or exemption if you are a scholarship holder), which will be requested when you register.
Step 2: IA web or paper registration
In most cases, the registration procedure is paperless.
IA web will be closed from July 21, 12:00 to August 21, 2023, 14:00.

1st registration at AMU
- If you have never registered at AMU, are a new entrant or have been admitted via Parcoursup, access the registration portal IAWEB Primo
From July 06, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. to July 21, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. - reopening August 21, 2023 at 2:00 p.m.
For those admitted via Parcoursup: please respect the registration deadlines indicated in the admission message.
For those admitted via Études en France: registration possible from June 29, 2023 at 9 a.m. until the deadline indicated by your faculty, school or institute.
Wait for the explanatory e-mail sent by the school with instructions on how to proceed (registration link, login, link to CVEC) once your visa has been approved by the consular services.
Re-enrolling at AMU
- If you are a student already enrolled at AMU (year N-1), access your your ENT
- If your registration at AMU has been interrupted for a year, contact your school
Some faculties, schools or institutes have not dematerialized their registration, consult the website of your faculty, school or institute
Step 3: Payment of registration fees
Depending on your situation, payment can be made online by credit card in one or three instalments.
If you have applied for a CROUS scholarship, you will be exempt from paying the registration fee. If your application is under review, your registration fee payment will be put on hold.
For work-study students, please contact your school (your registration will be put on hold for payment).

Step 4: Activate your Digital Working Environment
This step does not concern students already enrolled at AMU.
Once you have registered, you will receive your personal e-mail address:
- login and password to activate your ENT and access digital resources
Please keep these identifiers in a safe place.

Step 5 : Supporting documents
Supporting documents must be uploaded to your ENT as soon as possible.
Heading "Schooling" - "Supporting documents".
These scanned or photographed documents will be checked by your school.

Step 6: Registration validation
At this stage, once your documents have been checked, you will receive a confirmation e-mail and you will be able to obtain your student card or sticker (for re-enrollments) according to the procedures indicated by your school.
Your school certificate will be available directly from your ENT.
Step 7: Academic registration
You are now registered as a student at Aix-Marseille University, and you must now proceed with your enrolment: choice of options, enrolment in tutorials or practical work groups, etc...
