Guided independent study / self-directed learning:
The CRL’s mission is to meet any demand for learning a foreign language not covered by initial or continuing education. Here, you can improve your skills in the following eight languages, for which tutoring is available: German, English, Chinese, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, French as a foreign language (FLE) and Italian.
You will study through guided self-study, supported by a tutor, using the materials of your choice (software, textbooks, etc.), at a pace that suits you. The tutor will meet with you, help you set your goals, recommend suitable resources and answer your questions. It is recommended that you make an appointment with the tutor at the start of the year to discuss your goals, explore the centre’s resources and make the most of your self-study.
