DALF C1 preparation course

1. Description :

The SUL organizes preparatory courses for the DALF C1 diploma, lasting 20 hours and spread over 1 or 2 weeks, depending on the session.

These courses generally take place at our Aix-en-Provence site (program defined each year), shortly before the DALF C1 session.

Objectives :

  • Optimize preparation (methodological advice, mistakes to avoid, respecting assessment criteria to gain points, making a detailed plan to save time).
  • Know and understand the tests (detailed presentation of each test, understanding the instructions).
    The DALF C1* exams are as follows:
    • Oral and written comprehension tests(CO and CE): questions based on audio and written documents(duration of tests 90 min.).
    • Written production test(PE): synthesis of a document and argumentative essay(duration of test 2h30).
    • Oral production test(PO): monologue and interaction exercise(test duration 30 min.).
  • Practice (sample tests, practice for written and oral tests).
  • Group work to complement individual training.

2. Stage 2026 :

Course period: Monday May 4 to Thursday May 14, 2026 (2 weeks, 4 days a week, morning or afternoon).

Location: Aix-Marseille Université, Site Schuman, Bâtiment T3 Porte (SUL), 29 avenue Robert Schuman, 13621 Aix en Provence.

Total duration: 20 h face-to-face for students + approx. 10h asynchronous (preparation assignments).

3. Fees :

  • 250€ for individuals from outside the University of Aix-Marseille.
  • 200€ for individuals registered at amU.
  • 100€ SUL students (semester/yearly courses) or amU exchange students.

How to register:

  • During the registration period: download the registration form (in"Documents to download" opposite) and send it by e-mail to the address indicated on the form, together with a copy of your ID and a passport photo.
    No registrations will be accepted outside the registration period.
  • You will then receive a message indicating the validity of your registration and payment details.
    ATTENTION: As the number of participants is limited, please wait for confirmation of your registration BEFORE paying the registration fee.
  • Once your payment has been validated, you will receive your registration certificate.
