Double degree programs

The partnership established between Aix Marseille Université and Wuhan University of Technology (WUT) is the fruit of a shared desire to participate in the emergence of double-degree Bachelor's and Master's programs in Life Sciences, Microbiology and Health Biology through an innovative bilingual training framework.

The WUT-AMU institute offers three double-degree courses:

• Bachelor of Life Sciences (2 tracks: Cell Biology and Biochemistry) / Faculty of Science
• Master's degree in Microbiology / Faculty of Science
• Master in Health Biology, Immunology option / Faculty of Medical and Paramedical Sciences

Once their studies have been validated, students will receive diplomas from both partner universities.

The projected number of students up to 2023 is :

• 150 Bachelor'sstudents maximum per academic year
• A maximum of 20 Master'sstudents per academic year

Students will have the opportunity to study abroad (in the Bachelor's program) and do internships (in the Master's program), depending on the capacity of amU's laboratories and fields of study.

Several hundred Chinese students will be trained in various science specialties, according to French higher education standards. This will create a new pool of PhD students. In the long term, this partnership should make amU more attractive to excellent Chinese doctoral students, and encourage the development of research partnerships.
