For the 2026–2027 academic year, the following rules apply at amU:
➝ First-time non-EUstudents must pay the full amount of the differentiated tuition fees upon enrolment. Payment in three instalments is not permitted.
➝ An offer of admission made before the Decree of 19 May 2026 came into force is not, in itself, sufficient to allow the previous exemption scheme to continue to apply. Only an individual notification from the university expressly stating that an exemption was granted before the decree came into force entitles the student to benefit from the previous scheme.
➝ Non-EUstudents already enrolled at amU in 2025–2026 will continue to benefit from the scheme under which they were covered in 2025–2026.
➝ Lebanese, Ukrainian and Palestinianstudents are granted a full exemption from tuition fees by individual decision of the institution.
➝ Non-EUstudents receiving a TIGER or AMIDEX scholarship are exempt from 75 per cent of their tuition fees, subject to an individual decision by the university.
➝ For information, to date, 59 per cent of non-EU students are fully or partially exempt from tuition fees.
Differentiated fee rates for 2026–27:
Bachelor’s degree: €2,902
Master’s degree: €3,950
The following are automatically exempt
(do not pay enrolment fees):
- Recipients of French government scholarships,
- Students covered by a cooperation agreement with a foreign institution that applies the same exemption to French students.
Partial exemption (75 per cent):
➝ Some students who have paid the full amount of the differentiated tuition fees may be eligible for a partial exemption of 75 per cent of the fee amount, subject to the applicable regulatory quota.
➝ These cases will beassessed centrally by amU.
➝ Eligiblestudents will be informed directly after the enrolment period closes, from December onwards.
➝ Students do not need to submitany paperwork to the Student Services Office to benefit from this exemption. The application is entirely online and is made directly during the administrative enrolment process, via a tick box included in the enrolment procedure.
The following are not subject to differentiated fees (they pay the standard national fees):
- Students of French nationality,
- Nationals of the EU, the EEA, Monaco, Andorra, Quebec and Switzerland,
