The Faculty of Law and Political Science, a pioneer in work-study programs in the field of law, is constantly adapting to an ever-changing world and offering a range of courses in tune with the times. In addition to a regularly updated range of courses open to all, the emphasis is placed on different modes of transmission, notably with the development of digital and distance learning.

Founded in 1409, the Faculty of Law and Political Science (FDSP) has been a training and research unit (UFR) of the University of Aix-Marseille (AMU) since 2012.

Located on three sites, Aix-en-Provence, Marseille and Arles, it offers its students (around 10,000 each year) several initial training courses, continuing education and work-study programs, with in-class or distance learning, in Private Law, Public Law, Legal History and Political Science.

It also offers a range of short courses (International Trade and Customs, Transport Law, Sports Law, Chinese Business Law, Taxation and Finance, etc.), and preparatory courses for competitive examinations (Lawyer, Magistrate, Civil Service : Ministère des Armées, Conseiller de Tribunal administratif, Conseiller pénitentiaire,...) and Summer Schools dedicated to Corporate Environmental and Social Governance, International Human Rights Law Practice,...

The FDSP is attentive to the needs of the legal, judicial and socio-economic worlds, as well as to the professional integration of its students. It benefits from a number of partnerships with the socio-professional world and, thanks to the online services platform dedicated to internships and employment (IPRO), enables students to acquire practical experience based on the application of the theoretical knowledge acquired during their studies.
