2- Put together your application
- Download the application form
- Submit it online via the eCandidat application, with supporting documents, according to the dates (see calendar below).
- Wait for a reply: the Césure committee will examine your application and you will be informed of its decision via eCandidat.
- Incomplete applications or applications submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.
⚠️Vous must continue to attend classes until you receive notification from the Césure committee.

⚠️À remember
- A Césure can only start at the beginning of a semester.
- The maximum duration is 2 consecutive semesters.
Implementation and reintegration phase
1- Finalize your administrative registration: Make sure your status is registered with your school. (Your registration fees will be reduced).
2- Draw up and sign your Césure agreement: this document formalizes your Césure period and sets out the terms and conditions. Contact your school to obtain it.
3- Stay in touch during your Césure: maintain contact with the person in charge of the course you are returning to for any follow-up or support you need.
4- After your Césure, we'll help you reintegrate into your training program
Césure abroad: important information
- For students wishing to take a Césure abroad in September 2026: we strongly advise you to assess the feasibility of your project, taking into account your current situation.
- Any request for a Césure abroad (outside Europe and DROM-COM) will be subject to mandatory consultation with the Defense Security Officer.
- For a stay abroad of less than or equal to 6 months: compulsory registration on the MEAE's Ariane online service.
- For a departure abroad of more than 6 months: compulsory registration on the teleservice or two registrations on the MEAE's Ariane online service.
