Social assistance and assistance to the person prevented from attending

Aide sociale et à la personne empêchée

Social Actions: welcoming, informing and supporting are the missions of the social action for the service of Continuing Professional Training. They are provided by Fathia Tir.

1. General objective

  • Correct inequalities in access to continuing vocational training, taking into account the interests of the trainee and the institution as a guiding principle.

2. Securing training paths through individualized social interventions

  • Welcome and carry out with people, in an ethical and deontological approach, any action likely to prevent or overcome socio-professional difficulties that may disrupt the relationship with training.
  • Ensure relational, economic, legislative and administrative management of professional, social and family situations or problems.
  • Inform trainees of the rights to which they may be entitled.

3. Correcting inequalities in access to vocational and continuing training

  • Ensure the smooth running of the training for a specific audience, through contact with institutional partners (CAF, CG13, interim box, Local Mission, Pôle Emploi...)

4. Consideration of persons prevented from attending

Every effort is made to ensure that people with disabilities can benefit from adequate assistance, adjusted follow-up and continue their training or services under the best conditions. The consideration of "prevented" persons is personalized and individual.

Each person with a disability can present their particular situation during a first telephone or on-site interview. His problem is analysed during this first meeting with the social worker of the Continuing Professional Development Service (SUFA), the service's disability adviser. The latter will then contact the AMU handicap cell to consider and recommend solutions adapted to each individual's case.

For financial assistance for your training project, you will find the information on the website of l'AGEFIPH.
