TRANS' SD Competition: Sustainable Development is Interdisciplinary

DDD-Illustration-DDentrans

The DD en TRANS' competition is a desire on the part of the University to promote the educational projects of AMU students through a cross-cutting, topical theme that affects all courses, even those outside the DD/RS (Sustainable Development/Social Responsibility) field.

This format provides a fun and friendly approach, allowing for exchanges between students and teachers from different courses, sharing knowledge and consequently creating a real network within the AMU student community. As stated in the title, through this competition we wish to show all the interdisciplinary potential of AMU and help develop it further.

Presentation of the competition

The competition is made up of two categories, which express the fields of experience of sustainable development:

  • AMU actions: any proposal concerning AMU as a field of study and/or implementation.
  • Local and territorial actions and other actions: any proposal concerning the territory and proximity as a field of study and/or implementation, any proposal highlighting global, national or international actions.

All students from L1 to M2 in teams of 1 to 8 people, enrolled in a course at AMU and whose project falls within the scope of the course and/or is supervised by an AMU lecturer, may compete.

The project presented does not need to be finalized at the time of its presentation to the competition. What matters to the jury is that they take note of the sustainable development issues in your project. We cannot impose on you to present a feasible project when your training may not require it. On the other hand, if you wish to make it feasible, the competition will be an opportunity to show it to our partners, who might be interested in supporting it.

What is also important in this competition is that all participants have fun competing and can express their creativity in the presentation of their projects. It will also be a great opportunity to meet students from other courses, perhaps to join one of their projects, to create a network and to discover all the facets of sustainable development.

All kinds of prizes will be awarded to all participants (jars of honey, organic fruit juice, health prevention kit, partner goodies...) and eco-responsible prizes for the winners of the competition (computers "second life", ethiKdo cards, Terrabilis games...).
