ERASMUS SCHOLARSHIPS +:

Definition of the monthly payment

Several monthly payments have been defined, which take into account both the rules laid down by the Erasmus + programme (groups of destination countries) and a projection based on mobility in 2014-2015.

Group 1 (high cost of living)

Austria, Denmark, Finland, France, Ireland, Italy, Lichtenstein, Norway, Sweden and United Kingdom.

Group 2 (average cost of living)

Belgium, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, Turkey.

Group 3 (low cost of living)

Bulgaria, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Hungary.

  • The study period at the partner university is a minimum of 3 months and a maximum of 12 months per cycle of study (Bachelor, Master, Doctorate).
  • The internship period is a minimum of 2 months and a maximum of 12 months per cycle of study (Licence, Master, Doctorate).

Procedures for awarding a traineeship grant

Internships of less than 6 months are preferred. Applications will be examined on a case-by-case basis (need to have firm applications as soon as possible due to the Erasmus+ timetable). Students who are not eligible for either the AMI or PRAME scholarships will be given priority.

Cumulation

The Erasmus + scholarship can be combined with the AMI scholarship, but cannot be combined with a PRAME scholarship.

FOREIGN GOVERNMENT SCHOLARSHIPS

The Chinese and Taiwanese governments offer scholarships each year to French students to improve their level of Chinese. They concern students in the "Asian Studies" programme.

Students start at Licence 3 level and above. The management of this programme is entrusted to the Department of Asian Studies of Aix-Marseille University.

A*MIDEX DEVICES

A*Midex coordinates the "Scholarships for incoming and outgoing mobility" scheme, which encourages the international mobility of students from Aix-Marseille University and encourages the reception of international students within the Aix-Marseille University courses for study or internship periods. These scholarships are awarded on the basis of excellence (academic and linguistic criteria) and are financed as part of training courses aimed at increasing their international visibility. These scholarships are intended for undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students and cannot be combined with other scholarships for the requested training.

This system is composed of 2 parts:

  • Incoming mobility

Duration: from 2 months to 1 year

Funding: 1000 maximum/month

These scholarships are selected by the teaching team
