Ecocomplex seminar - complexity of socio-environmental issues

The main objective of the "Ecocomplex" initiative (global ecology and complex systems) is to mobilize interdisciplinarity in order to assess the feasibility of a common theoretical framework or base, which can be shared, accessed and mobilized to meet the major socio-environmental challenges of the 21st century.

To this end, the Ecocomplex initiative proposes to integrate different disciplinary fields to understand complex systems, in particular physics and applied mathematics, but also economic and social sciences, including geography, sociology and regional planning, geosciences, biology and of course ecology. The whole approach systematically invites epistemological reflection and an ethical-philosophical perspective.
