Connected campuses in Digne les Bains, Arles and Salon de Provence

The aim of this call for projects is to bring higher education closer to all regions by creating accredited higher education facilities that complement universities and their branches. Supported by a local authority, in partnership with a partner university and in conjunction with the rectorate and local education stakeholders, the connected campus is positioned as a genuine third-party place of higher education, innovative and collaborative, offering any learner the possibility of pursuing a higher education course at a distance, leading to a degree or certification, in conditions that favour their success. These third places of higher education are positioned as new places of social link for learners located in remote areas.

Operated by the Caisse des Dépôts et des Consignations, this call for projects is associated with the call for expressions of interest Fabriques de territoires, carried out by the New Places, New Links programme of the Agence nationale de cohésion des territoires (A.N.C.T.), to enable the creation and/or financial support of third places whose distance learning and tutoring methods will enable students to overcome the mobility difficulties they may face, to succeed in studies they would not necessarily have undertaken and/or to serve as a springboard for further studies on a university site.
