The international summer school Digit-CrEAAT

Digit-CrEAAT is the international summer school on digital creativity in education by Pascal Terrien
Postponed to 2022 because of the health context

Digit-CrEAAT (DigitalCreativity in Educational and Artistic Activity Training) is one of the two summer schools selected by the A*Midex Foundation as part of the "international 2018" call. It is organized by the teams of the research unit 4671 ADEF (Learning-Didactics-Evaluation-Formation) and by the "Institut national supérieur du professorat et de l'Education" (INSPE) of Aix-Marseille Université.

The Aix-Marseille Provence metropolis has a privileged cultural, heritage and festival environment and an abundance of training in arts. The objective of Digit-CRrEAAT is to question the impact of digital tools on creation and training in and through the arts (visual arts, music, dance, design, theatre, cinema, etc.) while encouraging meeting of professionals from the academic and artistic worlds.
The summer school offers an immersive programme in various cultural venues, along with conferences, debates and workshops led by renowned players of the international scene.

After some time, the project aims to launch and develop an international network of researchers and students supported by laboratories and research structures and artistic creation.

The NanoSum international summer school

Nanosum is the international summer school in nanoscience and nanotechnology by Fabienne Michelini, lecturer at the Institut Matériaux Microélectrique Nanoscience de Provence
Postponed to 2022 because of the health context

Recent years have seen an interest in nanoscience and nanotechnology growing steadily.
NanoSum (International summer school on Nanosciences and Nanotechnologies) is the second summer school selected by A*Midex within the framework of the 2018 call. It aims to offer the first summer school on nanosciences and nanotechnologies.

The project is organized within the framework of the European Civic University CIVIS, which strengthens its international dimension and allows it to create sustainable high-level research and teaching links within several universities of the network.

The summer school offers courses and seminars in English at the cutting edge of research but also laboratory visits, rapid scientific research activities, social events where exchanges between actors from the academic and industrial sectors as well as students are encouraged. NanoSum thus tends to promote the autonomy of students and their professionalization.
