Health relay students

Working in conjunction with the University Health Service (SSU), the Student Health Advisers (ERS) are resource persons trained to work with students. Their interventions are designed to open up dialogue between peers (among students) and support those in need to deal with difficulties, so that they are no longer alone. They are present on all Aix-Marseille University campuses (Schuman, La Timone, Saint-Charles, Saint-Jérôme and Luminy), to raise awareness and engage in dialogue on various health topics (mental health, well-being, sexuality and emotional life).

Their missions

They act as a link between students and the various health services. Through their various activities, they promote health and raise awareness among their peers of issues that may concern them (addictions, emotional life, mental disorders, facilitating access to healthcare).
As students, they are not health professionals. However, their training enables them to be active and sympathetic listeners, enabling them to understand and direct students in need to understand and redirect students in need to SSU professionals (nurses, doctors, psychologists, psychiatrists) or professionals from outside the university. Various events and times of presence will be organized so that they are visible and available to meet you on the different campuses, to discuss and open the discussion on student well-being between students. What's more, every month on the various AMU campuses, they'll be proposing actions and health awareness workshops, always on themes dear to young people and present in their news. They're always there to help, so all you have to do is contact them via one of the available communication channels, either by e-mail(etu-relais-sante@univ-amu.fr), or via social networks:

Themes

The first theme of the ERS is sexual health, sexuality and emotional life, as well as issues relating to diversity and gender identity. Any question, insecurity, discomfort or concern about sexuality or emotional health (relationships) can be addressed through the ERS.
The ERS are also there to help you with everything to do with lifestyle, well-being and health on a daily basis: nutrition, sleeping habits, physical activity, use of screens and the Internet... Risk behaviors and mental health in general are the third major theme on which ERSs are trained and focus. Psychological disorders, addictions and risks in the festive environment (consumption of legal or illegal products such as tobacco, alcohol or narcotics).
