Au Cube, Schumann site, Aix-en-Provence

Every Tuesday evening from 7pm to 10pm

From January 22nd

The OPERA - Body and Voice workshops will offer vocal, rhythmic and body games, to know how to project oneself into space but also to understand one's range, discover and accept one's own voice and know how to express oneself on stage as in everyday life!

Built like thematic walks through the repertoire, they will introduce you to opera and test your voice in all its colours.

These workshops will be led by Tania ZOLTY, singer. They are open to everyone, regardless of their level, including those who have never sung before and have no musical knowledge. These workshops will focus not only on a collective and individual practice, but also on an encounter with the artistic worlds linked to opera (body, voice, stage) through the 2019 programme of the Festival d'Aix.

"We will try to write about the theme of the Antoine Vitez Theatre's season: "The useful and the necessary". We will question this proposal in a poetic way, playing with words and their meanings. Perhaps we will even write life stories or fictions, which could illustrate this maxim? The field of possibilities is vast around this single sentence, and it is as pioneers, explorers, and travellers in the regions of language that we will leave, with feathers, balls or grey pencils, on the white of the page, which will be filled with sounds, to be said in public ! " Sabine Tamisier

10 to 12 participants per workshop. Possibility to participate in one, several or all workshops.

Luminy Campus,
multi-purpose room, DRC
Building A, 13009 Marseille

On Thursday
from 6pm to 9pm, registration and courses
from the beginning of September.

The first semester is dedicated to the broad exploration of theatrical practice through a wide range of games, improvisation and theatre exercises. A very wide range of texts is covered. The semester ends with a first presentation of the work in progress.

In the second semester, a show adapted to the specificity of the group of registered students was staged and exchanges of theatrical practices with German students were organized. The show was then performed in France and Germany. The workshop has a large background of costumes and props.

Several theatrical interventions or theatrical readings are carried out during the year. Panama Theatre has already participated in several student theatre festivals (France and Europe), notably in Germany and Belgium.

The workshops are directed by Pascale Vardanega, director and actress trained at the Conservatoire de Nantes and the Conservatoire de Marseille/Théâtre de la Criée (class of J.-P. Raffaëlli). She has been a professional since then, and has participated in many theatrical adventures, particularly in relation to the world of dance and visual arts in France and Germany.

The workshops are open to all levels, including beginners.

What matters most is regularity in presence and commitment to work. This course can be taken over several years without any problem if desired. Work proposals are frequently renewed.
