1. Presentation
Polytech Marseille is the engineering school of Aix-Marseille University, a member of the national network of university polytechnic engineering schools (13 schools). In 2012, its merger with ESIL broadened its training offer. 8 high-tech engineering courses are offered in fields covering all engineering sciences:
- Biological engineering
- Biomedical engineering
- Civil engineering
- Industrial engineering
- Information technology
- Materials
- Mechanics and energy
- Microelectronics and telecommunications
The engineering diploma awarded is authorized by the Commission of the title of engineer. Polytech Marseille is selectively recruited through joint national competitions. The school relies on about twenty research laboratories in the Marseille area where its teacher-researchers are involved in cutting-edge scientific activities. Its training courses are professionalized: they include mandatory internships (at least 8 months) and experts from companies are involved in its teaching.
Enrolment: 1000 student-engineers - 200 students in the preparatory cycle - 6000 graduates in activity.
