ISFIN - Master Plasma and Fusion - Fusion-EP (Erasmus Mundus)

FUSION-EP is an Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters Course (EMJMD) funded by the European Union (EU) and coordinated by Aix-Marseille University. An Erasmus Mundus Master Course is an integrated high-level international study programme, jointly delivered by an international consortium of higher education institutions. The Fusion EP program, created in 2006, aims to train the next generations of physicists and engineers specialized in magnetic confinement fusion. Since the 2019/2020 academic year, FUSION-EP is coordinated by the Aix-Marseille University.

FUSION-EP is organized in two periods of increasing specialization in two different universities in Europe chosen among the major players in fusion research. The FUSION-EP program delivers a joint degree certified by the eight European partner universities:

  • Institut National des Sciences & Techniques Nucléaires (INSTN), France
  • University of Gent, Belgium
  • University Complutense of Madrid (UCM), Spain
  • University Carlos III of Madrid (UC3), Madrid, Spain

  • University of Stuttgart, Germany
  • University of Prague (CVUT-CTU), Czech Republic
