The University Institute of Technology of the University of Aix-Marseille offers professional training, both theoretical and technological, in the secondary and tertiary sectors: Management, Commerce, Logistics, Information, Communication, Electronics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Security, Energy.

These diplomas are available in initial and continuing training. Some of them are done through work-study programs (apprenticeships and professionalization contracts). Theoretical education and scientific knowledge are linked to professional applications and constitute a "pedagogy of success". Personalized support allows students to achieve an excellent graduation rate. At the end of the DUT, about 80% of graduates continue their studies. They do this in a wide variety of courses: professional degrees, long studies, business schools, engineering schools, international courses.
The IUT has made professional integration one of the strong points of its attractiveness: today the integration rate after a professional degree is close to 90%. Finally, the teacher-researchers carry out their activities in different university laboratories and allow students to benefit from the results of their research.
