The Interuniversity Preventive Medicine and Health Promotion Service (SIUMPPS) is open to all students registered at Aix-Marseille University.

Its mission is to ensure the health monitoring of students and to develop prevention and health education actions.

Thus, every student registered at the university is called at least once during the first three years of study for a preventive medical examination at the end of which he/she is given a follow-up certificate. The SIUMPPS can issue certificates for study or examination adjustments for students with disabilities.

Students registered at the university can also benefit from nursing interviews, medical consultations and/or various services: psychology consultations, relaxation therapy sessions, oral and dental screening.

NB: Students from La Ciotat, Arles and Digne, and Gap are attached to Luminy, Aix and Saint-Charles respectively.

The management team includes the Director (Pr Laurent BENSOUSSAN), the Administrative Manager (Mrs Claire NUEL) and the Administrative Assistant (Mrs Laetitia FAURE).
