InCIAM Training DESU Creativity and Innovation

InCIAM offers a DESU Creativity and Innovation. This training is aimed at professionals wishing to diversify their fields of competence as well as at students in initial training.

1. Objectives

1.1 General objectives

The field of creativity is vast, while requiring specific skills for its application to the sectors of intervention and professional practices. Specialised training is therefore essential for anyone wishing to acquire in-depth skills in one of the three proposed courses. The objective of the degree is to contribute to the training of high-level multi-skilled executives, capable of responding to current and emerging needs in the medical, clinical, social, ergonomic, technological, economic, pedagogical, artistic, management and management science fields. The training is aimed at professionals wishing to diversify their fields of competence as well as at students in initial training, in addition to their traditional mono-disciplinary training, in a dual perspective of opening up to multidisciplinarity and professionalization. The modular organisation of the course allows it to be followed in parallel with a full-time professional activity and, possibly, another degree.

1.2 Academic knowledge to be acquired

The training is built around modules covering all the courses with, for each of them, a resolutely multidisciplinary approach combining prospective thinking and professional practice. Each module involves academic and professional experts (at least 50% professionals), the objective being to offer a complete view of each of the pathways, with the point of view of all the disciplines and all the actors concerned.

1.3 Skills to be acquired

The graduate acquires the skills necessary to:
  • To lead a creative project, in individual and collective situations,
  • Participate in the definition and implementation of an innovation strategy, in the fields concerned by the chosen course,
  • Analyze the characteristics of a field of application, encourage the emergence of creative ideas, develop and select ideas, communicate them to others from different perspectives,
  • Adapt to different national and international socio-professional and intercultural contexts, master technologies adapted to each pathway (e.g. artistic and/or pedagogical practices, user interface design),
  • Understand and follow the evolution of one's field of application (monitoring, innovation and benchmarking, strategies of the actors),
  • Anticipate future developments.
  • Professional opportunities and/or further studies
The professional outlets are particularly rich as well regionally as nationally and abroad. The aim of the degree is to enable the student to respond to the present and future needs and opportunities offered by high-potential creative fields.
