1. Presentation
Created in 1996, IMPGT, the only Public Management UFR in France, has retained the spirit and aims of professionalization that governed its creation. Focused on a multidisciplinary approach (law-economy-management), extended to social sciences and applied to the non-market sector, IMPGT offers an opening on the international scene, particularly towards the Mediterranean basin. Involvement, group work practices, a serious and friendly working atmosphere are valued. The professionalization of the curriculum is achieved each year through the completion of an internship. The IMPGT offers a complete training from Bachelor to Master (Professional or Research) in the field of public management:
- The Licence in Public Administration, public management course, takes place over three years.
- The first year of the Master's degree (M1) begins the general training and covers several fields of specialization. Students from a wide range of backgrounds can join these courses.
- The second year of the Master's degree (M2) is part of a logic of professionalization based on a coherent training according to the chosen specialization. While reinforcing the achievements, it requires in-depth field work that will form the basis of the end-of-training internship and the main thrust of the thesis.
Training can be pursued towards a doctorate in Management Sciences in order to develop public management research.
