Founded in 1955, IAE Aix-Marseille was the first IAE in France to be modeled on American business schools attached to major universities. This history has anchored our ability to innovate. Our history is marked by the pioneering development of numerous pedagogical innovations.
Today, the IAE Aix-Marseille stands out for the development of two strategic axes impacting the whole of its pedagogy, its research and its relationship with its participants: the I3 project and the "Humanistic Leadership" project.
The IAE Aix-Marseille is deliberately positioned midway between private management schools and public universities. This positioning combines the dynamism and flexibility of a school closely linked to the business world, with the values of public service, teaching excellence and research. As one of Aix-Marseille Université's Business Schools, IAE Aix-Marseille is perfectly in line with the university's strategy of academic excellence, internationalization and professionalization.
Entirely dedicated to higher education and research, the IAE Aix-Marseille offers Bac + 5 and higher degrees (Masters, MSc, MBA, PhD) specialized in the various fields of management, in constant alignment with the needs of the business world. The CERGAM research laboratory is the largest in France in terms of the number of doctoral theses defended in the field of management.
