1. Missions
The main missions of the Steering and Management Control Department are to
- Contribute to the management of the establishment by proposing and implementing management control and performance measurement tools
- To provide the University of Aix-Marseille with efficient internal mechanisms for allocating resources, making the players at each level accountable
- To guarantee the sustainability of all the pricing of services provided by the institution through the deployment of a full cost accounting model and the creation of specific pricing tools for each activity
- To provide expert support for the management of the training offer and the control of overtime in collaboration with the players
- Initiating, coordinating and steering the multi-year monitoring of the establishment contract and the site contract
- To carry out surveys and studies in all areas of activity
- To build and eventually pilot a secure decision-making information system that guarantees coherence with the institution's strategy and enables the dissemination of steering information to all structures
- Contribute to the exhaustiveness and coherence of the information system's nomenclatures and to the quality of the data
The Steering Department leads an internal management control network and is a member of the Finance and Management Control Directors' network (DFCG). It participates as a contributor to the national project "Knowledge of the costs of activities of higher education institutions".
