Create a Chair

A chair is the meeting point between the world of teaching and researching and the business world.
It is an apparatus, financed by one or more socio-economic partners, aimed at developing research and teaching in areas previously defined in collaboration with sponsors.
For AMU, the Chair is on the one hand, a means of promoting research and training and a strategic challenge for companies on the other.

1. Objectives of the project

  • Further academic and applied research on a theme that raises questions for the partner company,
  • Develop innovative training programs for university students, with the participation of representatives of the partner company when possible,
  • Create innovation by organizing dedicated events (seminars, symposiums, study days, etc.).


2. Advantages

  • Foster contacts between partner companies and professors specialized in the sectors related to the Chair,
  • Foster meetings between companies and students on the Chair themes (internships, missions, jobs, theses...),
  • Push forward its programs, thanks to the company's perspective, and adapt them to market needs as much as possible. The objective is to develop teaching methodologies in synergy with the socio-economic world.
