ANIMMA - 21/25 JUNE 2021

Advancements in Nuclear Instrumentation, Measurement Methods and their Applications

ANIMMA 2021

The 11th edition will take place in June 2021 in Prague in collaboration with the Czech Technical University. Created in 2009, this conference is co-organized by CEA, Aix-Marseille University (LIMMEX, IM2NP UMR 7334, Filière Instrumentation), the Belgian Nuclear Center (SCK-CEN), IEEE NPSS, the Slovenian JSI (Jozef Stefan Institute) since 2018 and for the next edition the Czech Technical University. Every two years, this multidisciplinary/interdisciplinary conference on nuclear instrumentation and measurements brings together 350 to 450 participants.

It is structured in sessions allowing to deal with applications in different fields. These sessions are dedicated to fundamental physics, fusion technologies and diagnostics, research reactors, control and monitoring of power reactors, the nuclear fuel cycle, decommissioning, safety and homeland security, medicine, the environment, and education.

Each edition begins with a day of short-courses and workshops. The following four days are dedicated to plenary, invited, intensive and traditional papers, posters, organisers' and industrial stands and a visit of facilities. There is also an evening event in conjunction with the IEEE Women in Engineering Event.

Several members of the institute are involved in the support of this conference (co-chairman of the scientific committee, chairman of the workshops) and in the various steering, scientific and organization committees.
